1. Health Screening
Health screening helps to discover if a person is suffering from a particular disease or condition, even though he or she does not have any symptoms. If a disease or condition is discovered early through screening, the person is able to receive treatment early and avoid complications, much suffering or even death.
Finding out about a problem early can also mean that treatment is more effective. Finding out you have a health problem, or an increased chance of a health problem can help people make better informed decisions about their health. Screening can reduce the chance of developing a condition or its complications.
Screen for Life (SFL) is a national screening programme that offers eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) subsidised screenings, recommended based on age and gender.

SFL aims to encourage Singapore Citizens and PRs to go for regular screenings and follow-up. With early detection and appropriate intervention, we can prevent or delay the onset of certain diseases such as diabetes, as well as complications related to them.
From 1 September 2017, the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Health Promotion Board (HPB) have enhanced subsidies for SFL to encourage more Singapore Citizens to go for the recommended health screenings and have the necessary follow-up.
We at ULTIMED HEALTHCARE aim to provide the most suited health screening package for you, having your health and interest in mind – ranging from the young working adult to the elderly generation in their twilight years. An all-encompassing health.

2. Telemedicine
Telemedicine, which enables video or phone appointments between a patient and their health care practitioner, benefits both health and convenience. More health care providers are offering to “see” patients by computer and smartphone.
“Health organizations are providing virtual appointments and are expanding their telehealth options, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Brian Hasselfeld, M.D. Hasselfeldis assistant medical director for digital health innovations at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Telemedicine thus has many benefits, including reduced doctor visits, reduced waiting time at clinics, access to subspecialist opinions, avoidance of catching infectious diseases, home monitoring of several medical parameters,
and enhanced online learning.
