Dr Charmian Yeo

Senior Physician

Dr Charmian Yeo is a patient-centred medical practitioner with experience in both home-based and hospital-based care. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Queensland (Australia), and holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Honours) from the National University of Singapore, where she was awarded the NUS Graduate School for Integrative Sciences and Engineering Scholarship. She received multiple academic accolades, including the Lijen Industrial Developmental Medal and the NUS–UBC Lee Foundation Internship Award.


She has trained at major healthcare institutions in Singapore, including Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, gaining experience in acute and emergency care, general medicine, oncology, and infectious diseases, with additional exposure to surgical disciplines such as neurosurgery, colorectal, and upper gastrointestinal surgery. She has also contributed to public health initiatives through her work with the Health Promotion Board.


Dr Yeo has a special interest in paediatrics, particularly early childhood development and vaccinations, and is experienced in developmental assessment, parental guidance, and preventive care. She also provides home-based and end-of-life care, offering compassionate, personalised support with a focus on dignity and continuity.

With a strong background in research, including work at the University of British Columbia and contributions to studies in anticancer therapeutics, Dr Yeo brings an evidence-based and thoughtful approach to her practice.
