Dr Faizal Kassim
Chief Medical Officer
Dr Faizal graduated from NUS in 2003 and has nothing short of an illustrious and colourful 21+year career covering both the Public and Private Sectors. He spent the first 9 years with a Government Restructured Hospital in the discipline of Emergency Medicine, before leaving for the Private Sector where he developed his Administrative and Management Skills.
His previous role as a Medical Director in a Private Healthcare group saw him handle more than 40 clinics across the island, emergency ambulance operations and stakeholder / client management. He was largely responsible for Clinical Governance for the Healthcare group, which enforces healthcare quality from the various centres under his charge.
In 2022, he was conferred the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (PBM) for his role in the nation’s fight against COVID, having set up multiple Testing & Quarantine facilities not just in Singapore, but also in Bangladesh and India; together with 10vaccination Centres across the island, partnering multiple public & grassroots stakeholders, delivering at least 3.6 million doses of vaccines to the public.
Dr Faizal is passionate about Primary Care and Public Health and is currently spear-heading the Ultimed Healthcare Clinics business as the CMO & Director, responsible in launching the company in it’s bid to be the trusted healthcare company delivering holistic, all-encompassing health to the community.
