Dr Mohamed Faizal bin Abdul Wahid is a highly accomplished medical doctor with over two decades of experience across clinical, corporate, and regulatory healthcare sectors. A graduate of St George’s, University of London, he holds multiple postgraduate qualifications including a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from NUS, a Diploma in Travel Medicine from Glasgow, and a Certificate in Aviation Medicine from King’s College. Recognized as a Designated Workplace Doctor by Ministry of Manpower and certified in Civil Aviation Medicine, Dr Faizal has consistently positioned himself at the intersection of family medicine, corporate health, and public health & safety policies. He is also an LPA certifier and holds the position Severe Disability Assessor with AIC.
Dr Faizal has held numerous senior leadership roles in Singapore's leading healthcare institutions, including Deputy Physician Leader at Raffles Medical Group and Deputy Medical Director at Fullerton Health, where he also served as a Canadian Visa Medical Certifier and American Veterans Disability Evaluator. As Medical Director at Integrated Health Plans, he successfully transformed underperforming clinics into profitable and efficient health centres and implanted additional in-house services for multinational corporations. His experience spans clinic licensing, health screening operations, pandemic response, and corporate health audits.
In recent years, Dr Faizal has ventured into medical entrepreneurship, founding MedDoc AI Pte Ltd to drive AI integration in healthcare operations, and co-founding AF Skincare Pte Ltd to bring HSA-approved dermatological products to market. His work reflects a passion for innovation, patient safety, and system efficiency. Beyond clinical expertise, Dr Faizal is also a Lieutenant Colonel with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (NS), combining public service with medical leadership. With a rare blend of hands-on clinical insight, administrative precision, and entrepreneurial vision, Dr Faizal continues to be a driving force in shaping modern, responsive healthcare systems.
